Artists Palette, Death Valley CA 3/7/26

Artists Palette is an area in Death Valley where minerals from volcanic deposits provide a beautiful array of colors, which look like they might be on a painter's palette.

After the video pans left, you can start to see some of the superbloom that has been in the news. In this shot it's primarily the purple flowers which I believe are Weakstem Mariposa Lily. You can also see Badwater Basin in the distance, which actually had some water in it. I went down to Badwater Basin and got some video and photos which I'll be working on and eventually posting.
