Bobcat Hunting, Point Reyes 4/29/26

Earlier I posted some video of a Bobcat “just being a big kitty”.  Today’s footage has a little more of the hunter spirit, though I couldn’t resist also including some nice strolling in the fields footage.  This video is a bit longer than most of my videos, and my friends would tell me it’s way too long and I need to be more ruthless in editing.  Probably fair criticism, but there’s just so much to love here.  And if you stick with it, you’ll be rewarded with a really beautiful closeup of this magnificent animal.  

This excellent hunter caught 4 gophers during the time I watched her.  I was originally going to do a video with all 4 kills and have that be most, if not all, of the video.  But after going through the footage, I decided that 1 kill was enough.  And there was some really beautiful and fun other footage I wanted to include, so my original plan changed a fair bit.  Hopefully you like the result.
