Bobcats really are just big kitties, Pt Reyes 4/28/26

After spending the afternoon watching and taking video of this Bobcat, I couldn’t help but picture my own cats out there acting almost exactly the same, especially when it started cleaning itself.  Just big, cute kitties.  And love that tail!  I couldn’t resist zooming in on the tail in one of the shots.  :-) It was really a pleasure watching this cat work its way through the fields.  

I have more footage from the following day with more hunting activity, and I originally was going to put it all together in one Bobcat video.  But after looking at it and thinking about it for a while, I really liked just having the footage from the first day as sort of a “big kitty roaming the fields” theme and a different one with “cat on the hunt”.
