Double your Pleasure, Double the Flukes, 5/22/26

We had a couple pairs of Humpback Whales who looked like they were competing for a commercial.  There was even a California Sea Lion who decided to try and get in on the act during the final double fluke shot. This was taken from the deck of the Blue Ocean Whale Watch boat in Moss Landing, CA.  

I’ve done a fast ID on these whales, and the preliminary results are that the first pair is CRC-12043 and Murph (CRC-18970).  The second pair is CRC-20919 and Murph.  The third pair is CRC-12043 and Murph.  So seems Murph is trying out different fluking partners.  :-)
