Gray Whale Fluke Fest SF Bay 3/2026

We had an absolutely fluketastic weekend aboard the Kitty Kat with San Francisco Whale Tours. Gray Whales tend not to raise their flukes as much as the Humpbacks, and even less so when in the shallow waters of the San Francisco Bay. But this past weekend they really put on an amazing fluke show.

I decided to do a "Fluke Fest" video with just the fluke footage. So I put together almost all of the video I shot with flukes. With the exception of the first and last clips, all of them are in chronological order. The first and last were two of my favorites, especially with the view of the city in the background.
