Maui Hawaii SCUBA Diving, collection of critters 12/29/25

I was SCUBA diving in Maui and managed to get video of a variety of critters. I won't list all of them, but I will name a few, starting with the star of the show - the Spotted Eagle Ray which is why I posted a separate video with just the Eagle Ray, but I'm including that footage here too. There was also a Stonefish as well as its doppelganger the Devil's Scorpionfish (also commonly called a false Stonefish). Since both of those are difficult to see due to exceptional camouflaging, I put text on the video identifying them. The Stonefish is particularly difficult to see, and unfortunately just as I was getting myself into position to get a better view of him, someone (who shall remain nameless) kicked up a storm of sand so I was unable to provide a better view of it. In addition to those two critters, there was: Spotted Porcupine Fish, Spotted Moray Eel, Giant Moray Eel, Thompson's Surgeonfish, and a variety of different reef fish.

If you listen closely, you can hear the Humpback Whales in the distance singing. It's beautiful to listen to.

Given that I didn't have any artificial lighting, and all of the footage was shot on my iPhone, I was pretty pleased with how it came out.
