Mola Mola floating by Pacifica, 8/2/26

I was taking some video of the Humpbacks offshore from the pier when I spotted a Mola Mola (Ocean Sunfish).  It felt strange leaving 5 Humpbacks to take video of a Mola Mola, but that’s what I did.  These guys are just so otherworldly.  And the icing on the cake was several Common Murres who were swimming underwater around the Mola Mola.  It’s so wild watching birds swimming underwater.
