Peregrine Falcon Fledglings 5/22/25

I’ve been wondering whether the Peregrine nest at Devil’s Slide was successful this year. I checked a few times back in April but didn’t see any signs. I had been planning on checking again in early May, but other things got in the way, so yesterday ended up being the first day since April I had a chance to go see. I was elated to see three fledglings! The kiddos were out working their wings and one of them wandered a fair distance from the nest. I’m hoping he didn’t get himself stuck/stranded as he remained in that location for the rest of the time I was there and he didn’t even go back to the nest when mom came back. I’ll have at least one or two more posts with more photos from this session. For this post I just wanted to let the young ones shine. I was so excited to see them! The adults will have to wait for a later post.
