Sunrise and Jupiter setting Timelapse, Pacifica 1/17/26

Here in Pacifica we often focus on the beautiful sunsets that we get, often during the fall and winter. However we also have some pretty amazing sunrises. I really enjoyed this mornings sunrise, and also liked watching Jupiter set just as the sky was showing touches of the morning sun.

The video starts with footage from my Mori Pt webcam. I love how the sun's rays move across the clouds starting around 7:05am (you can watch the timecode in the upper left). Then it transitions to footage from my Pacifica Pier webcam. I started this one a bit earlier so you get a better view of Jupiter before it sets. If you look off the end of the pier and up into the sky a little bit you should see it.
