Coyote Den Family Cuteness, Pt Reyes 4/28/26

Happy Father’s and (belated) Mother’s Day.  Beautiful, fun, cute, playful, heartwarming …. This family had it all this day.  The little pups were having fun, as well as trying to establish their dominance structure.  Mom and dad were initially away from the den, but mom showed up for feeding time.  Later dad showed up bringing a bit of food for the family.  After a bit of together time, mom and dad decided they wanted a bit of space and rest from the kiddos.  It was an amazing morning watching them and their interactions.  Just another fabulous day at Point Reyes.  

If you look closely, I believe dad is one of the blue-eyed coyotes at Pt Reyes.  I’ve messaged an expert for their opinion.  

I was originally thinking of posting this for Mother’s Day.  But for the health and safety of the den, I thought it better to wait until the family had moved on from that particular den before posting.  So, now it’s a combo Father’s/Mother’s Day post.
