Humpback Whale 5/26/25
I was busy working on grilling some ribs for Memorial Day when I got a call from my friend Chris alerting me that there was a whale off Mussel Rock and he and Grant were getting some shots of it. I zipped up there, but by the time I got there it was fogged in. I decided to wait around a bit while I monitored my ribs remotely with my phone (geek!). After things cleared up I was able to spot a spout north of the pier, so I zipped down to the pier. The whale moved in a little closer to the pier by the time I got there and hung around for a little while, occasionally lunging. These were some of the shots I got.
