Northern Harrier, Half Moon Bay 1/20/26

I was in Half Moon Bay spending the afternoon with the local raptors. There was a pair of Northern Harriers who were being uncharacteristically cooperative. This is a selection of the footage I shot that day. Probably my favorite part was from 0:35 to 0:46. He flew pretty close to me and gave me a nice look.

Note to sensitive viewers: From 2:12 to 2:30 in the video, the Harrier is eating a rodent. If you do not wish to see that, you can skip over it. He was working on it for a while, but I only used a small portion of the footage.

This was the same day I got the footage I posted earlier of the "Raptor Rumble": https://youtu.be/Rmr4BE73NFM
