Red-tailed Hawk Surveying the Pier Area, 9/18/26

Often when I’m up on the roof looking for whales or dolphins or taking in the view, I find this particular Red-tailed Hawk doing the same basic thing on the light pole next to me.  He’s become my observation buddy.  I thought it might be nice to document him, as well as the view he has.  He was a good sport about it for me.
