That’s Quite a Beak, Red-tailed Hawk, Half Moon Bay 9/22/26
Yesterday I was in Half Moon Bay looking for an entangled whale that had been reported. I didn’t manage to find the whale, but I did find this Red-tailed Hawk with quite the impressive beak, though it’s probably an indication of Avian Keratin Disorder. I didn’t have my normal camera with me, but I did have my iPhone.
