Song Birds at Pt Reyes, 4/30/26

I've been posting a fair number of large animals recently (whales, Sea Lions, Bobcats, etc) so I thought it might be nice to go a bit smaller and more mellifluous. Here's a Song Sparrow and Spotted Towhee, though you can hear a few more singers in the background. This also answers the question of how to get a Song Sparrow to stop singing .... in the third clip he's got a bug in his mouth, which seems to have quieted him down. :-)

If, like me, you have cats, you might find yourself cleaning paw prints off your TV if they're around while you watch this. :-)
