Spinnaker Cup Sailing through Pacifica, 5/23/26

California Offshore Race Week is underway, starting with the Spinnaker Cup, going from San Francisco to Monterey. They passed through Pacifica this afternoon and I got some photos and videos of them from the pier. It was a bit of a challenge, between the fishermen and the strong winds pushing my lens all about. But I did what I could and picked the clips least likely to make viewers nauseous. :-)

Credit for this video goes largely to my wife. I was sound asleep when she woke me up and said there were sailboats out front I might be interested in. I groggily looked out the window, saw them and quickly got my gear together and went out to photograph and video them.
