Sydney Royal Botanic Garden 6/14/25

Leave it to me to visit the Royal Botanic Gardens and come away with a pile of bird photos and only one photo of a plant. And that plant: a Bird of Paradise. All of the birds were ones I haven’t photographed before. The birds: Sulphur-crested Cockatoo, Australian Ibis, Australian Magpie, Masked Lapwing, Little Pied Cormorant. And in a departure from my normal bird photos, none of these were taken with one of my long telephotos. We were just walking around Sydney, so I only had my “walk-around” lens with me - a 24-120mm.
